Emerging Leaders

STANY Emerging Leaders Ski Trip 2026: A Perfect Blend of Networking, Insights, and Winter Fun!

Last week, STANY’s Emerging Leaders gathered for the Fourth Annual EL Ski Trip—and it delivered on every level. From February 26–27, finance professionals, industry veterans, and the next generation of leaders came together at Camelback Mountain for two days of meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and winter adventure.

What makes this trip so special is the mix of perspectives in the room. This year, our youngest Emerging Leader attendee was just 15 months old—a reminder that the EL community continues to grow in more ways than one!

An Evening of Insight and Candid Conversation

The trip began with an engaging dinner discussion featuring Matt Billings (Robinhood), Stan Craig (GTX), Jennifer Fagenson (Dash Financial), and Bill Russell (Cboe). Moderated by EL Committee Member Jordan Fleming (Cboe), the conversation was dynamic and candid, touching on career pivots, leadership lessons learned along the way, and the evolving landscape of today’s markets.

Panelists shared personal stories, practical advice, and thoughtful perspectives that resonated with attendees at every stage of their careers. The interactive format encouraged questions and dialogue, setting the tone for a weekend built on connection.

From the Slopes to the Lodge

Friday brought blue skies and plenty of options. Whether skiing, snowboarding, tubing, or enjoying Camelback’s indoor waterpark, attendees made the most of the day. Some tackled challenging runs, others opted for relaxed rides and scenic views, but everyone embraced the spirit of camaraderie that defines this trip.

Beyond the activities themselves, it was the in-between moments—chairlift conversations and après-ski gatherings—that made the experience memorable.

More Than a Getaway

While the setting was wintery and fun, the impact was lasting. The EL Ski Trip continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the year because it creates space for authentic connection. In a relaxed environment, conversations flow more naturally, ideas are exchanged freely, and relationships deepen in ways that simply aren’t possible in more formal settings.

Thank you to our 2025 EL sponsors, our speakers, and all the attendees for making the 2026 Ski Trip another tremendous success. We’re already counting down to next year.

HPR Launches Maxbot: Hardware-Based Market Access Evolution

HPR has announced the launch of Maxbot, an ultra-low-latency market access gateway and pre-trade risk solution built on a full hardware data path.

Delivering sub-microsecond, deterministic latency, Maxbot supports 400+ trading sessions and up to 500,000 sustained messages per second (with bursts up to 12 million), all within a single appliance. Designed for banks, venues, and trading firms operating in highly latency-sensitive environments, it simplifies infrastructure while integrating performance and risk controls.

According to CEO Anthony Amicangioli, as message rates and market complexity grow, capital markets infrastructure is evolving beyond software alone — with hardware-based solutions like Maxbot representing the next phase in high-performance market access. Maxbot Factsheet
