Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry
Hon. Carolyn B. Maloney, Former Congresswoman, U.S. Congress
The Hon. Carolyn B. Maloney served for over three decades as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives (1993-2023). During that time, she rose to become a nationally recognized leader in many fields including financial services, economics, and women’s rights. Congresswoman Maloney was the first woman to Chair the powerful House Committee on Oversight and Reform and previously was the first woman to chair the Joint Economic Committee. She authored and passed more than 81 measures, either as stand-alone bills or as measures incorporated into larger legislation packages, 14 of which were signed into law at formal Presidential Signing Ceremonies that are generally reserved for the most significant bills. Her many achievements include landmark legislation such as the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, the Postal Service Reform Act and the Credit CARD Act.
Throughout it all, Ms. Maloney has been a steadfast champion for women’s rights. As the Eleanor Roosevelt Distinguished Chair in Residence at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College, she focuses heavily on the practical elements of legislative governance, protecting women’s rights, and the advancement of the Equal Rights Amendment into the United States’ Constitution. Ms. Maloney is also the Chair of the ERA Coalition, the President of the New York Chapter of the National Organization for Women, a Managing Director of the Metropolitan Opera and a member of the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. She is also a member of Women’s Forum Inc., the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Financial Women’s Association.

The Smart Market for Institutional Investors & Traders
OneChronos is a U.S. equities ATS designed bottom-up to fundamentally address the growing gap between how trading venues match orders and how traders want to execute.
OneChronos is a Smart Market – the technical term for markets that match counterparties using mathematical optimization. Smart Markets have a proven ability to outperform traditional markets on metrics such as price improvement, liquidity, and fairness.
Smart Markets enable Expressive Bidding – An optional set of tools to achieve custom fills, further enhancing the execution quality potential and differentiation of broker algorithm offerings for their customers, such as trade subject to a stock’s imbalance or quote stability, or trade multiple symbols based on the spread between them or in a dollar balanced fashion. To do all this effectively OneChronos fits cleanly into existing trading algorithm and routing workflows.
Operating a computationally intensive Smart Market at the speed, scale, and complexity of capital markets wasn’t possible until now. OneChronos is pioneering the artificial intelligence and technology that makes it possible.
