Dr. Keena Byrd, Sr Experience Researcher, Adobe
Dr. Keena Byrd is a passionate and accomplished researcher with more than 15 years of scientific research in the technology industry. Before joining Adobe as a Senior User Experience Researcher, she worked in Meta Platform’s Reality Labs and Intel Corporation’s Internet of Things group developing AI products and software.
Her commitment to identifying bias in AI, understanding user behavior, and creating user-centric designs have made her a respected authority in the field.
She is passionate about STEM for girls and leverages her multidisciplinary expertise working with non-profit groups to create programs that encourage underrepresented groups' engagement in math and science.
Dr. Byrd earned her PhD from the College of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University and her M.S. from the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at North Carolina A&T State University. She currently lives in New York City and enjoys volunteering, urban gardening, and fitness.
Seam Spector, Business Development, OneChronos
Sean is part of the Business Development team at OneChronos, where he leads initiatives to develop customer-focused analytics and collaborates closely with subscribers to optimize their trading strategies on the platform. Before joining OneChronos, Sean led product efforts at a startup, was part of the trading analytics team at IEX Group, and began his career in electronic trading at Sanford Bernstein. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Virginia. OneChronos is on a mission to design and operate markets that grow the gross world product by facilitating trade. Starting with a U.S. equities ATS designed from the ground up to bridge the gap between order-matching methods of trading venues and traders' execution needs.
Jerry Wang, Trading Compliance Analyst, OTC Markets Group
Jerry Wang is an emerging finance professional with extensive applied experience in business analytics and artificial intelligence, currently serving in a trading compliance role at OTC Markets Group. Leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven insights, he enhances AML protocols and strengthens regulatory compliance standards. With an MS in Quantitative Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Jerry has developed practical expertise in data science, risk management, and fraud analytics. His career includes impactful roles in financial consulting and audit at firms like PwC, where he implemented innovative strategies to optimize financial controls and drive profitability.
