Reflecting on his involvement with STANY, Eric shares:
"I first got involved in STANY when I entered the business in the early 2000s by attending their conferences. In 2010, I decided to become more engaged—not only to contribute to STANY and the industry but also to gain an inside look on how STANY works to strengthen and advance the industry. It was an honor to serve as a consultant to the board and, ultimately, to join the STANY Board in 2012. Being involved in STANY has shown me how much the organization brings to its members and the broader financial community."
At the 2023 STANY Annual Conference, Eric moderated the "Cross-Border Trading" panel, which explored key issues and trends in Canadian cross-border trading.
Beyond trading, Eric is committed to improving execution quality for Canaccord Genuity’s clients and enhancing overall OTC market efficiency. These connections are instrumental to stay at the forefront of this fast-paced business.

“Throughout the years, STANY has provided an instrumental framework for connecting traders, educating the securities industry and strongly advocating for modernizing America’s stock markets. By bringing the voice of the traders to the conversation, STANY is continually improving our financial markets,” said R. Cromwell Coulson, President and CEO of OTC Markets Group. “OTC Markets Group continues to benefit from our STANY membership and the support of its ecosystem as we evolve our own markets to better serve our community of broker-dealers, issuers and investors.”
