Charitable Giving & The STANY Foundation 

Each year, STANY's President selects one or more charitable organization as a focus of STANY's philanthropic efforts. In addition to raising money for the President's Choice Charity, STANY's leadership aims to raise awareness of the mission and accomplishments of the charity. 

The STANY Foundation was started in 1999 in order to distribute the funds formerly held by the STANY Gratuity Fund. The Foundation continues to make grants and to act as the educational and charitable vehicle for the Security Traders Association of New York.

The Directors of the Foundation determine the charitable contributions each year and are directed by the Foundation Charter to distribute the Foundation’s assets for educational and charitable purposes. Since its inception, The STANY Foundation, has added its muscle to the efforts of the STANY membership.
